Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with 10 to 12 years of experience to oversee the complete delivery of complex digital initiatives including travel eSIM solutions, mobile applications, and web platforms. This position is based in Pune with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for web and mobile development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget constraints.
• Manage concurrent projects effectively by prioritizing tasks and resources.
• Conduct sprint planning sessions, facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives, and maintain product backlogs aligned with business objectives.
• Gather and analyze project requirements with stakeholders, translating them into detailed user stories, product requirement documents (PRDs), and business requirement documents (BRDs) for development teams.
• Serve as the main liaison for internal teams and clients, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and promoting transparency.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, design, DevOps, and product to remove project blockers and drive alignment between business and technical units.
• Mentor and guide team members, optimize resource allocation, and encourage a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation plans, while monitoring project health through key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed and organized project documentation using tools like Confluence, Jira, and Monday.com, ensuring version control and governance adherence.
• Utilize AI-powered applications such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and workflow automation tools to enhance planning, accelerate delivery, and improve team efficiency.

Requirements

• 10 to 12 years of project or program management experience within IT or software domains.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated expertise with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management platforms like Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, and Trello.
• Experience managing projects involving mobile apps (iOS, Android, preferably Flutter), web platforms, and API integrations.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with proficiency in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
• Proven decision-making abilities within dynamic, startup-like environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master.
• Experience in domains such as travel technology, telecommunications, or eSIMs.
• Background working with international clients and distributed teams.
• Familiarity with data analytics, reporting dashboards, and visualization tools.
