This role involves leading the conception, development, and enhancement of internal digital products that boost employee productivity and operational efficiency. These solutions enable critical workflows—such as knowledge and records management—and support industry-facing services like grants and licensing management for the tourism sector. You will take responsibility for product strategy, delivery success, user adoption, and impact measurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and continuously refine product vision, roadmap, and priorities targeting improved internal workflows and service outcomes.
• Transform operational requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics, maintaining a prioritized backlog.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iterative improvements ensuring tangible outcome realization.
• Own delivery results including scope, timeline, quality, and readiness; closely coordinate with engineering and delivery teams.
• Plan project milestones, releases, manage dependencies, and keep stakeholders updated on progress and risks.
• Identify and escalate risks with proposed mitigations and options.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and operations to guarantee production readiness including non-functional needs like performance and security.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, and operations to release incremental updates while preserving service continuity.
• Prioritize tasks based on impact to productivity, service levels, compliance, and user benefits.
• Lead key product ceremonies and maintain up-to-date documentation such as PRDs, release notes, and operating procedures.
• Redesign workflows end-to-end (e.g., grants processing, licensing approvals) to reduce manual effort and cycle times.
• Balance usability, control requirements, and efficiency when simplifying complex business logic into scalable product designs.
• Spot opportunities for automation, standardization, and reuse to enhance productivity and minimize errors.
• Engage operational teams to understand constraints and translate these into actionable product increments.
• Align multiple stakeholders across policy, operations, and technology on priorities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely decisions.
• Provide clear communication of progress, risks, and results to leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Enhance internal user experience to minimize friction, reduce rework, and lower training needs by designing intuitive workflows and enabling support.
• Define, monitor, and analyze productivity and service metrics like turnaround time, throughput, backlog, error rates, and adoption; use insights for continuous improvement.
• Ensure changes achieve intended operational outcomes and become integrated into daily business processes.
• Maintain interoperability with enterprise systems and shared platforms, managing integration dependencies effectively.
• Contribute to reusable components and common patterns to prevent isolated solutions across products.
• Ensure compliance with audit, data protection, and security standards; maintain traceability especially for financial and regulatory workflows.
• Identify and mitigate product and operational risks while designing user-friendly controls.
• Oversee budget planning, forecasting, utilization tracking, and provide visibility on spending and funding risks.
• Lead procurement activities such as licensing, subscriptions, and professional services in collaboration with Finance and Procurement ensuring governance and audit compliance.
• Assist in vendor evaluations and ongoing contract management by defining requirements, participating in evaluations, and monitoring service levels and renewals.

Candidate Profile

• Degree holder in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent fields.
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in product management, digital delivery, or business transformation roles.
• Proven track record of launching internal or enterprise-facing products or workflow systems that yield quantifiable operational improvements.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams on delivery planning, prioritization, risk handling, and release management.
• Familiarity with budgeting and procurement processes, including forecasting, tracking, and licensing management, is an advantage.
• Knowledge of security, data protection, and audit/compliance requirements in enterprise contexts is beneficial.
• Strong product mindset focused on outcome-oriented problem framing, success metric definition, and prioritization for impactful results.
• Disciplined execution and delivery management including risk and dependency handling.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills with an ability to present options and trade-offs clearly.
• User-centered design approach leveraging research, feedback, and data for better usability and adoption.
• Systems and workflow thinking with understanding of data flows, controls, and integration touchpoints.
• Able to navigate governance constraints like auditability, security, and privacy while delivering practical solutions.
