Role Overview

We seek a Senior Data Quality Specialist to focus on advancing and operationalizing a banking client’s Data Quality Framework. The role requires significant banking domain knowledge combined with mastery of Saudi and international data governance regulations to maintain continuous data health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic enhancements to mature the bank’s existing Data Quality Framework based on data impact assessments.
• Conduct extensive data profiling to identify and document recurring data quality challenges across various banking services and business domains.
• Identify Critical Data Elements (CDEs) throughout bank departments, establishing tailored business rules covering core data quality dimensions like accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate root causes of complex data inconsistencies and produce comprehensive solution design documentation to address these issues sustainably.
• Manage pilot projects for data quality remediation, ensuring thorough recording of execution, findings, and outcomes.
• Utilize enterprise tools to automate monitoring and remediation workflows enhancing the Data Quality Framework.
• Provide onsite technical support and training programs to empower internal bank staff throughout all project phases.

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of practical experience in Data Quality, Management, or Governance specifically within commercial banking or financial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi National Data Management Office regulations and global Basel Committee data quality standards (BCBS 239).
• Proven track record in designing and managing corporate Data Quality Health Index metrics.
• Advanced skills in Informatica IDQ and proficiency with data profiling, data governance frameworks, SQL and ETL automation technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Arabic and English to effectively handle regulatory documentation and collaborate internally.
• Preference for Saudi nationals.
