Job description

About the Opportunity

Join a pioneering hospitality company as a Senior Commercial Manager and take full commercial charge of a portfolio of approximately 10 properties in the DACH region. In this innovative leadership position, you will serve as the key commercial decision-maker, with primary responsibility for each cluster’s overall revenue performance. If you seek the chance to build a transformative business model — and truly own both strategy and results — this role offers a unique platform to shape the future of commercial operations at scale.

What Sets This Position Apart

This role is designed for comprehensive oversight: unlike traditional revenue roles that are narrowly focussed, you will handle everything from pricing strategies and channel management to local B2B outreach and guest review impact. Automated systems manage the routine work, so your expertise is applied to complex, high-impact decision-making. You will drive commercial decisions, coordinate with various teams, and directly impact profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct commercial lead for a set of Limehome properties, fully accountable for achieving revenue per available room (RevPAR) and gross operating profit per available room (GOPPAR) goals.
  • Set strategic parameters in the Revenue Management System, including occasional manual overrides of automated pricing tools, to optimize performance.
  • Design and implement tailored rate and length-of-stay strategies to maximize occupancy, especially around peak and shoulder periods.
  • Continuously track commercial performance and use data-driven insights to guide your decision-making and priority actions.
  • Source and convert local partners (e.g., hospitals, universities, corporate clients) to maintain occupancy during low demand periods.
  • Lead targeted local sales outreach, supported by centrally provided warm leads.
  • Direct central teams on strategic OTA advertising, property content, and visibility initiatives as needed for your cluster.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of operational issues (such as facilities failures affecting ratings and revenue) and ensure rapid cross-functional response.
  • Collaborate with marketing to conduct CRM campaigns and analyze customer acquisition cost versus OTA commission.
  • Regularly present commercial outcomes and cross-departmental collaboration needs to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Expertise

  • At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in Revenue Management, Business Development, Commercial Strategy, Consulting, B2B Sales, or a similarly analytical commercial capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Hospitality, Finance, STEM, or a highly analytical field.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including a focus on profitability metrics and customer acquisition costs, not solely revenue figures.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams through data-driven persuasion.
  • High level of technical proficiency, including experience overseeing automated pricing and revenue tools.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial outlook with willingness to take full commercial responsibility for your assigned properties.
  • Business-level fluency in both German and English, essential for managing the DACH region portfolio and local outreach.

Perks & Benefits

  • Flexible hybrid working model, with the possibility to work fully onsite or partially remote.
  • Comprehensive relocation support for moves of over 300km, including visa and language assistance (with German language classes available post-probation).
  • Regular team events, open communication culture, and a supportive #oneteam atmosphere.
  • Continuous professional growth through feedback, peer review, and unlimited budget for external learning formats.
  • Opportunity for ‘workation’ twice yearly for up to four weeks from within the EU.
  • Eligibility for a three-month sabbatical after 18 months’ tenure.
  • Additional wellbeing benefits, including access to sports memberships, mental health support, and discounted stays in Limehome properties.
