Role Overview and Responsibilities

This position requires a senior-level business analyst adept at bridging technical and business teams to support software development initiatives. Responsibilities include translating business objectives into detailed user stories, managing product backlogs, and contributing to Agile-based project delivery. The role demands strong facilitation skills to unify diverse stakeholders and deliver actionable analytical insights.

Required Skills and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of five years' experience as a Technical Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Product Analyst, Scrum Master, or similar roles supporting software teams.
• Proficient understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience using BI and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, capable of querying and interpreting semi-structured data.
• Skilled in creating process flows, system diagrams, use cases, data mappings, and functional specifications.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and modern app architectures.
• Use of Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, GitHub or equivalent platforms.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in dynamic environments with close attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in financial services or fintech sectors.
• Experience with enterprise platforms, workflow orchestration, or operational automation solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and business intelligence reporting.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools like Microsoft Copilot.
• Understanding of data architecture concepts such as ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data marts, and reporting layers.
• Hands-on with MongoDB aggregation pipelines, JSON structures, and event-driven data analysis.
• Certifications such as SAFe, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and engineering best practices including CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Test-Driven Development.
