Role Overview

Patel Vaghasiya & Associates is hiring a Senior Accountant in Ahmedabad, India. The role is focused on accounting work within a CA or tax consultancy environment, with strong exposure to taxation-related entries and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Handle Tally-based accounting work, especially entries connected to tax matters such as TDS and GST.
Carry out GST reconciliation and support the preparation and filing of GST returns, along with compliance activities.
Assess whether TDS is applicable in different situations and manage TDS return filing and related compliance requirements.

Experience Expectations

Candidates should have prior experience working in a CA firm or tax consultant firm, specifically in accounting and taxation functions.

Eligibility

Applicants with a Company Secretary background in Secretarial Audit, Corporate Law and Governance, or a B.Com degree in any specialization are eligible to apply.

Compensation

The offered pay is INR 144000 to 216000 per year.
