Role Overview
As a full-time, on-site Security Manager based at a Hilton property in Umluj, you will be tasked with overseeing all facets of security operations on the premises. Your responsibilities will include protecting guests, employees, and assets, while adhering to Hilton's standards and applicable local laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections of security measures and systems across the property.
- Monitor access control and related security infrastructure continuously.
- Manage response to incidents and emergencies efficiently, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies as necessary.
- Maintain and update emergency response procedures and safety guidelines.
- Lead, train, and schedule security personnel to ensure effective team performance.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to lessen potential security threats.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to incorporate security plans into daily operations and special events.
- Accurately document and report security incidents and investigations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
- Continuously assess and enhance the security framework to maintain a safe and inviting environment for guests and staff.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of physical security and security management practices, including property-wide protocol development.
- Understanding of information security and cybersecurity basics to protect operational and guest data safely.
- Familiarity with network security concepts to effectively partner with IT teams on secure system access.
- Experience managing incidents, conducting risk assessments, and planning emergency responses within a hospitality or analogous setting.
- Strong leadership capabilities including team management, training delivery, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with external officials.
- Awareness of local safety laws and standards, with any prior interaction with law enforcement or regulatory agencies viewed favorably.
- Preferably holds professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISSP or equivalents and possesses a diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related discipline.
