About the Role

Join ApexGuard Security Inc. as a full-time or part-time Security Guard based in Windsor, Ontario, serving high-rise residential communities across Windsor and Essex County. This position requires managing front desk operations with hotel-quality concierge services and upholding a secure and welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional hotel-style front desk concierge services, including managing resident access, registering visitors, and overseeing lobby activities.
• Maintain a professional and approachable presence, acting as the visible face of building security.
• Address and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently by applying communication and de-escalation techniques, ensuring adherence to property rules and regulations.
• Offer timely assistance and support to Property Management, contractors, and onsite staff as needed.
• Commit to continuous training focused on emergency response protocols and communication procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License or be actively pursuing one.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service, with a preference for backgrounds in hospitality or concierge services.
• Outgoing personality comfortable with high volumes of resident and visitor interactions.
• Strong team player who remains composed and delivers quality service under pressure.
• Capable of handling multiple situations simultaneously while maintaining professionalism.
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certifications are advantages.
• Additional certifications such as Use of Force, NFPA, and First Aid are beneficial.
• Professional appearance with the flexibility to work day, evening, or overnight shifts.

Additional Information

Positions available for both full-time and part-time employment. Duties are located onsite across Windsor and Essex County, including Essex and surrounding areas.
