Role Description

• Design, deploy, and manage the Tenable.sc vulnerability management environment, including Nessus scanners, agents, and connectors for IT and OT/ICS systems.
• Oversee scanning policies, schedules, credentials, and scanner zoning to maximize coverage.
• Integrate Tenable tools with configuration management databases, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), and SIEM platforms.
• Maintain scanner health, manage plugin updates, ensure license compliance, and plan capacity; responsible for upgrades and patching cycles.
• Establish and enforce the comprehensive vulnerability management lifecycle: discovery, identification, risk scoring, SLA assignment, remediation, verification, and exception handling.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities risk-wise using CVSS, EPSS, Tenable Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR), asset importance, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Lead remediation efforts by coordinating with system owners, providing clear guidance, and monitoring SLA adherence through dashboards.
• Develop, maintain, and review documentation for vulnerability management policies, standards, and procedures.
• Administer the Darktrace Network Detection and Response (NDR) platform, including policy development and management.
• Integrate NDR with SIEM and other security tools, fine-tune detection models, and minimize false positives.
• Monitor NDR appliance health and sensor connectivity to guarantee continuous network visibility.
• Manage updates, configuration changes, and ensure NDR compliance with security policies.
• Oversee daily operations of the ThreatQ Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP), including data ingestion, enrichment, and workflow optimization.
• Configure and maintain integrations with threat intelligence feeds and other platforms such as SIEM.
• Apply scoring models and prioritization logic to ensure delivery of high-value intelligence.
• Create and enhance automated workflows within the TIP environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in information security, with at least 3 years dedicated to vulnerability management.
• At least 2 years of direct hands-on administration of Tenable.sc is mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with common vulnerability categories, such as OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, and the CVE system, along with patch management processes.
• Experience with Darktrace Network Detection and Response platform administration is advantageous.
• Experience managing the ThreatQ Threat Intelligence Platform is preferred.
