Job description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Coordinator specializing in ramp safety to join our team at Nashik, Maharashtra. This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and regulatory compliance in airside operations within the aviation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee ramp activities ensuring they align with established safety and security protocols.
- Perform regular inspections of ramp areas to detect any operational risks or hazards.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulations from DGCA, BCAS, ICAO, and individual airline procedures.
- Investigate any safety-related incidents promptly and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Lead and coordinate emergency responses during operational emergencies on the ramp.
- Deliver safety briefings and facilitate training sessions for ramp staff to heighten safety awareness.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including safety records, audit outcomes, and compliance reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Aviation or related disciplines.
- Have between 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in airport operations, ground handling, ramp safety, or aviation security.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of DGCA, BCAS, ICAO regulations, and aircraft turnaround operations.
- Exhibit strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as AVSEC, Ramp Safety, Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), or other aviation safety/security related certifications are highly desirable.
