Job Purpose

The School Director is responsible for shaping the school's environment and ensuring rigorous implementation of the SABIS® Educational System™, focusing on maximizing enrollment, academic standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain an environment that supports the thorough application of the SABIS® Educational System™.
Maintain and promote the school's values and SABIS® principles without compromise.
Lead, guide, and manage staff performance and teamwork effectively.
Preserve the school's public image to align with SABIS® standards.
Resolve workplace issues professionally among employees, parents, and students.
Develop and implement performance improvement and corrective action plans for continuous advancement.
Coordinate with relevant teams and SABIS® management to recruit the most qualified staff members.
Manage staff leave and conduct policies to ensure smooth school operations.
Conduct ongoing classroom supervision and performance evaluations, and facilitate staff professional development to enhance quality.
Oversee academic matters by monitoring classroom activities, collaborating with Academic Quality Controllers, and using SABIS® analytical software for student support.
Handle classroom discipline, student life programs, and uphold student advisory sessions promoting ethical values.
Ensure availability of resources and manage reporting duties including accreditation and management documentation.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of academic curricula for all levels to engage in informed parent communications.
Understand and respect cultural norms of the local area.
Manage new student admissions in collaboration with SABIS® management to meet enrollment targets.
Monitor staff and student attendance, enforce SABIS® attendance policies, and address related concerns.
Plan exam schedules, monitor internal and external results to maintain high academic achievement.
Participate in teacher training programs to evaluate recruitment quality and staff development.
Supervise procurement activities and maintain safe, clean, and well-maintained school facilities and grounds.
Perform additional delegated tasks as assigned by SABIS® management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Master's Degree in Education or equivalent qualification.
Proficiency or native level fluency in English.
Minimum of seven years’ experience in senior leadership roles in top-tier schools.
Competence in Microsoft Office essential.
Strong presentation capabilities.
Expertise in people and project management, performance evaluation, and team collaboration.
Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
High attention to detail with adaptability and flexibility in work style.
