About The Role
The IMA Group is on the lookout for a meticulous Scheduling Specialist to aid in the daily functions within the Scheduling Department. This position suits individuals with experience in healthcare scheduling or call center operations who thrive on mentoring colleagues, resolving issues, and enhancing process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Track scheduling staff productivity and compile performance reports on a daily and weekly basis.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to Scheduling team members to maintain standards of quality and productivity.
- Assist with the onboarding process and training for new employees in Scheduling and Call Center roles.
- Manage escalated concerns related to scheduling and customer service.
- Detect inefficiencies in workflows and suggest improvements.
- Distribute and oversee daily work assignments to assure timely completion.
- Help handle employee timekeeping, manage paid time off requests, and contribute to departmental projects.
- Facilitate coordination of hospital agreements associated with ancillary testing services.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare scheduling, medical office environments, or call center settings is essential.
- Experience in leadership, mentoring, or training is advantageous.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite and scheduling software applications.
