Job description

About Learning Network

Learning Network is an expanding, innovative educational services company focused on exceptional customer service. Our culture emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, integrity, and a commitment to consistently fulfilling our promises. Employees are valued for their care toward customers and colleagues, fostering a supportive environment where hard work and service excellence is rewarded.

Role Impact and Overview

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you play a critical role in shaping students' educational paths by constructing accurate schedules that facilitate timely graduation and future readiness. This position involves partnering directly with students and families to navigate course planning, verify graduation requirements, and resolve scheduling issues with outstanding service and accuracy.

Your efforts ensure students pursue their academic and career goals—from college enrollment to workforce entry or military service—with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and maintain precise, compliant academic schedules aligned with graduation requirements.
  • Engage proactively with students and families, providing guidance and excellent service throughout the scheduling process.
  • Monitor students' progress by reviewing transcripts to confirm on-track graduation status.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tackle complex scheduling challenges while maintaining high service standards.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries through multiple communication channels, offering clear and courteous assistance.
  • Support scheduling operations such as term setups and course section configurations.
  • Document all scheduling decisions, communications, and student records comprehensively.
  • Participate actively in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule and Environment

  • Full-time commitment: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time, year-round with daylight savings adjustment.
  • Requirement to maintain uninterrupted focus and immediate availability through phone, chat, Zoom, and email during work hours.
  • Work remotely using a private, professional workspace with reliable high-speed internet and necessary technology to support video conferencing and task management tools.
  • Attendance reliability is essential, with proactive communication about any absences or schedule changes.

Candidate Profile

This role suits individuals who thrive on helping students and families with confidence-building academic guidance, are detail-oriented in managing complex scheduling requirements, and embrace accountability and teamwork. It is less compatible with candidates seeking minimal interaction, those uncomfortable with structured processes, or those intending to juggle multiple jobs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Business, Communications, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent educational and experiential combinations considered.
  • At least three years of experience providing customer-facing support in education or related fields.
  • Experience in supporting academic scheduling or graduation planning is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with student information systems, Mac OS, Google Workspace, and collaborative tools like Asana is preferred.
  • Must pass required background screenings.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to clearly explain complex academic information.
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Organizational expertise and capacity to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
  • Proactive ownership and accountability to deliver responsive and dependable service.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base pay ranging from $20 to $22 per hour.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage available to employees at low monthly costs.
  • Paid personal time off plus recognized holidays.
  • Employer-sponsored short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with dollar-for-dollar employer match up to 6% of earnings.
