Job Location and Working Hours

This position is based at 1310 Ottawa Street, Regina, SK, S4R 1P4. The role requires open availability, including willingness to work any shift, with flexibility to include weekends and overtime as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Keep the production floor and adjacent areas clean and orderly.
• Operate cleaning tools and machinery such as scrapers, brushes, pads, vacuums, scrubbers, compressed air, and power washers to sanitize the bakery’s floors, ceilings, walls, warehouse, freezer, refrigerators, and packaging/production zones.
• Conduct lockout and dismantling procedures to clean and sanitize production machinery following master sanitation schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Comply with cleaning protocols aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices and health and safety regulations.
• Manage collection and disposal of waste and recyclable materials from production areas.
• Assist with cleaning major liquid or dry spills as required.
• Carry out specialized cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Adhere to all internal policies concerning food safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications and Qualities

• Passion for bread and bakery products.
• Prior experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in food production.
• Experience with sanitation work, ideally in industrial settings.
• Comfortable handling sanitizing chemicals and agents.
• Excellent attention to detail to meet the company's cleanliness standards.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrate self-reliance, embrace learning opportunities, and take charge of personal career growth.
