Role Overview
The Sales Operations Analyst role is central to managing operations for four leading brands within the ANZ region: Arc'teryx, Atomic, Salomon, and Wilson. This position requires a blend of operational coordination and analytical insight, with approximately 60% dedicated to managing and supporting business processes and systems, and 40% focused on data analysis and reporting enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update Excel reports, Power Query models, and Power BI dashboards across the four brands.
- Analyze sales, customer, product, and channel data to identify trends, risks, and issues.
- Compile performance summaries and reports to support Sales Managers and Leadership.
- Address data and reporting requests from Sales, Customer Experience, Brand, and Merchandising teams.
- Act as the Business Analyst for Salesforce CRM and other sales platforms, including requirement gathering, coordination with development teams, and testing/rollout management.
- Handle inbound queries related to systems, reporting, and processes from Sales, Brand, and Merchandising teams.
- Plan and oversee Sales Operations projects, monitoring timelines and maintaining stakeholder communication.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially aware, and enjoys collaborating across multiple departments to facilitate data-driven decisions. Attention to detail and disciplined system management are essential.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in Sales Operations, commercial analytics, or business analysis roles.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and Power Query.
- Strong capabilities in Power BI including building reports and troubleshooting, with knowledge of DAX.
- Business analysis skills: adept at gathering requirements, liaising with technical teams, and supporting system enhancements.
- Effective communication skills adaptable to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-solving mindset focused on finding optimal solutions rather than quick fixes.
