Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative will be an integral member of our sales team, working full-time from our Coleshill office for three days with two days remote. Reporting to the New Sales Team Lead and Business Development Manager, the role is focused on generating new business through proactive outbound outreach to prospective clients, with the key objective of arranging high-quality meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to potential client firms.
- Initiate conversations, identify client needs, and qualify genuine sales opportunities.
- Use consultative selling techniques to engage and build rapport over the phone.
- Maintain consistent high activity levels and effective time management to convert efforts into results.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Energetic and confident phone presence capable of making numerous daily outbound calls.
- Exceptional verbal communication with the ability to quickly establish rapport with new contacts.
- Resilient mindset to handle rejection and maintain positive momentum.
- Strong written communication skills to craft personalized outreach messages that effectively engage prospects.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and organised with strong prioritization and time management abilities.
- Adaptable quickly, able to respond to questions and objections smoothly.
- Curious and open to coaching, eager to develop and succeed within a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and general IT skills.
Desirable qualifications include prior experience in outbound or telephone-based sales roles and familiarity with CRM systems.
