About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Store Manager to lead our team and drive success in customer service, employee engagement, and sales performance. This position will have a direct impact on our customers, employees, and local communities by ensuring an exceptional retail experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of store operations, including leadership of assistant store leaders, team leads, and advisors, as well as collaborating with business partners and vendors.
- Inspire, coach, and develop your team to assist customers in finding the best products and services.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and enjoyable team culture focused on continuous learning.
- Monitor and maintain store key performance indicators such as revenue targets, merchandising standards, inventory condition, and health and safety compliance.
- Ensure the profitability of the store by effectively managing financial performance including profit and loss.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a retail store manager.
- Proven leadership of retail teams comprising at least 40 employees within a big box retail environment generating $15 million or more in annual sales.
- Strong background in managing and analyzing operational expenses and revenue.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets in a high-volume retail setting.
- Hands-on leadership style that boosts employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and sales growth.
