Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Support merchandise assortment planning for all retail locations.
- Develop tailored buying plans for assigned product categories aligning with sales goals.
- Establish Average Retail Price (ARP) targets per category, craft option plans, and perform detailed depth analyses.
- Formulate stock-to-sale strategies for each season, including end-of-month and beginning-of-month calculations and Open-To-Buy (OTB) estimates.
- Contribute data for monthly target setting broken down by product category, track performance against targets, and prepare merchandise reports and product performance analyses.
- Oversee key aspects of inventory management ensuring optimal stock cover per category, control product dormancy, and manage pullback activity within defined standards.
- Create and analyze sell-through reports on a weekly basis and maintain photo sell-through documentation.
- Act as the custodian for stock and sales plans by curating dispatch strategies split by product category, monitoring planned versus actual figures, and managing allocation plans with size-wise assessment.
- Map competitive landscape regarding new product launches, schemes, and window displays to support market intelligence.
- Conduct merchandise, product, and visual merchandising related training sessions.
- Monitor and enhance the contribution percentage of core business categories within the total LTL business volume, identifying opportunities to introduce new designs.
- Assist in preparing retail design briefs focusing on option grids and reviewing learnings from previous seasons.
- Collaborate on Integrated Go To Market (IGTM) initiatives with VM and design teams, including dressing key stores and scaling rollout across outlets.
- Coordinate with retail planners closely to ensure effective use of allocated space and manage returns.
Qualification and Experience
- A graduate degree is required.
- Relevant professional exposure in stock allocation, advanced proficiency in Excel, and inventory management experience is essential.
