Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Resident Engineers in Civil Engineering who can contribute effectively to our site supervision teams, specifically on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic and evolving business environment, maintaining high standards of quality and client service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage team members within the Resident Engineers group.
• Serve as the point of contact reporting to the Employer’s Representative.
• Handle contractual site matters and manage interfaces among contracts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Evaluate contractor claims and prepare detailed reports.
• Assess payment applications and contractor performance based on contractual KPIs.
• Review and provide feedback on contractor submissions, such as method statements and design proposals against employer standards.
• Supervise site works including documentation, correspondence, record-keeping, and measuring activities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering practices, building construction, and project management principles.
• Minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience with at least 5 years in on-site supervision, contract administration, or project management of civil engineering works.
• Experience in constructing water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, pumping stations, deep excavations, marine outfalls, and civil structures.
• Ability to write clear, concise reports and maintain accurate work records.
• Competence using computer software for document management and reporting.
• Possession of a valid full, clean driving license.
• Understanding of construction contract administration.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to Quality Assurance Management Systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational capabilities.
