Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Recruiting Assistant to join our growing team at Tullylegal. This position acts as the initial contact for candidates and supports recruitment processes from first interaction to onboarding. Key duties include performing candidate screenings, assisting recruitment operations, and managing applicant records in our tracking system. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in human resources to advance their talents in a professional legal setting. The ideal applicant will communicate effectively, possess strong organizational skills, and proactively engage with candidates.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial telephone screenings for job applicants to ensure a positive experience and collect necessary details.
- Verify applicant data and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system to preserve data quality.
- Manage candidates through the prescreening phase, coordinating interviews and subsequent follow-ups.
- Consistently achieve and exceed phone screening and other recruitment performance indicators.
- Provide administrative support to the recruiting team by drafting job descriptions, generating reports, monitoring recruiting metrics, and assisting with proactive sourcing to build candidate pipelines.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers and recruitment colleagues to ensure smooth hiring processes and excellent candidate experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience in recruitment, human resources, or a related field is preferred, with knowledge of recruitment procedures and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong verbal communication skills, especially for conducting outbound candidate calls.
- Proficiency working with applicant tracking systems and other HR software is highly desired.
- Excellent organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and dedication to confidentiality are crucial for success in this role.
