About the Role
Avara Foods is seeking a Quality Auditor to join our Caistor, North Lincolnshire site. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, safety, and integrity within a fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing environment. The work setting includes refrigerated and noisy areas where hygiene standards are paramount for short shelf-life product production.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify ingredients, packaging, and finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications.
- Collect samples and perform thorough quality checks on products.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are calibrated correctly for operational standards.
- Document findings accurately and upload data to the quality system.
- Conduct CCP validation and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.
- Report any non-conformities or concerns promptly to Process Leaders and Managers.
- Assist with external audit processes as needed.
- Support the QA Team Leader and QA Manager in quality assurance activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in English with basic numerical skills.
- Strong team player with good communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adaptability in handling various duties.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours
Two positions are available with shift timings of Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 18:00.
