Position Overview

This role, representing a partner organization, seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist located in the United States to enhance quality improvement activities within complex government technology programs. The individual will ensure that processes, documentation, and workflows maintain rigorous standards of precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of extensive quality and process enhancement initiatives across technology operations.
• Develop, review, and refine organizational standards including processes, procedures, workflows, and documentation protocols.
• Work jointly with stakeholders to extract requirements, analyze challenges, and suggest process upgrades.
• Conduct thorough quality assessments of documents, deliverables, and project outputs to guarantee correctness, uniformity, and compliance.
• Assist in internal process audits to assess effectiveness and identify areas for advancement.
• Apply quality assurance techniques such as root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and preventive strategies.
• Evaluate current practices to discover opportunities for standardization and operational improvements.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize stakeholder information to support informed business and technical decisions.
• Investigate and recommend solutions aligned with organizational goals and future needs.
• Support governance activities including knowledge, change, and configuration management.
• Enhance communication by aiding teams in creating clear, precise, and audience-appropriate materials.
• Undertake additional quality assurance and process improvement tasks as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in technical, engineering, scientific, management, business fields, or related areas; equivalent experience also considered.
• At least two years of experience developing and managing quality assurance programs for similarly complex and scoped projects.
• Background in quality management, process optimization, auditing, or organizational change efforts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
• Strong grasp of organizational change management concepts.
• Exemplary writing, editing, proofreading, and documentation skills.
• Capability to communicate complex technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented mindset with dedication to accuracy, quality, and continuous enhancement.
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments and shifting priorities efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork across business and technical groups.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance communication, documentation, and productivity.
• Capable of working autonomously and contributing within collaborative environments.
• U.S. citizenship mandatory with the capacity to pass a governmental background check.
• Preferred experience in Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, Iterative, or other software development lifecycles.
• Additional preferred qualifications include Agile Scrum Master certification, healthcare technology familiarity, SharePoint mastery, or prior involvement in government healthcare programs.
