Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and well-organized Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Regulatory Building team. This role is critical in taking full responsibility for the systems, processes, and initiatives that uphold our Building Consent Authority (BCA) accreditation and quality assurance framework. The position requires collaboration across teams to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards, enhance quality assurance methods, and foster ongoing improvements.
Key Duties
- Manage and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation relating to building regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits as well as activities supporting accreditation processes.
- Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes impacting the BCA quality standards.
- Maintain compliance documentation, registers, and fulfill reporting obligations.
- Provide guidance, training, and quality assurance support to staff members.
- Promote continuous enhancement initiatives within regulatory services.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and customers.
Profile of Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication and customer relation capabilities with exceptional relationship management skills.
- Experience working with quality assurance or quality management systems.
- Excellent skills in process improvement and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in performing and organizing audits and compliance activities.
- Proficiency in business systems, digital tools, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant background in business administration, quality management, IT, or comparable disciplines.
- Possession of qualifications or knowledge related to the Building Act, Building Code, or regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
