Job Overview

Join Greencore as a QA Supervisor at their Bourne site, specializing in the preparation of fruit, leafy salads, and stir-fry mixes. You will be instrumental in safeguarding product quality and spearheading continuous improvements throughout site operations. This permanent position is site-based with a working schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, from 06:00 to 18:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the QA team, including audit processes, rotas, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with customer Codes of Practice, Greencore standards, and site audit protocols.
• Facilitate continuous improvement by resolving non-conformances and analyzing trends to develop long-term solutions.
• Monitor product and ingredient quality against specifications and investigate root causes when issues arise.
• Promote and embed a robust quality and food safety culture throughout site operations.
• Coordinate QA support for product launches and contribute towards meeting technical KPIs.
• Provide training, support, and growth opportunities for QA staff through clear communication and development plans.
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Candidate Requirements

• A solid understanding of food manufacturing processes, raw materials, and site equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality management systems in manufacturing settings.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop quality assurance teams effectively.
• Experience managing audits, handling non-conformance issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills adaptable across various organizational levels.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to collaborate well with operations, procurement, and technical teams.
