Project Manager - Mechanical Building Services

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join their expanding team on a permanent, full-time basis. This crucial position within the project delivery team involves close collaboration with senior leadership to oversee the planning, coordination, and supervision of mechanical building services installations across various residential developments in County Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical building services projects efficiently.
• Facilitate the installation and commissioning of building systems.
• Create and review maintenance and operational protocols.
• Track project expenses and support budget forecasting activities.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Generate and adjust 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software tools.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
• Represent in project, design, and technical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 12 to 24 months of experience in engineering or construction-related environments.
• Familiarity with mechanical building services, HVAC, or the broader construction sector is advantageous.
• Capability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Strong practical problem-solving abilities.
• Skilled at interpreting both written and spoken instructions and converting them into precise technical drawings.
• High attention to detail and precision in work.
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
