Project Manager - Data Centre Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the delivery of a vital data centre development in Frankfurt, Germany. This position involves overseeing all project activities, managing engineering teams, contractors, and ensuring that construction and commissioning milestones are achieved safely and punctually.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily project execution by coordinating engineers, contractors, and specialist vendors.
• Lead and actively engage in Pre-Liminary and Green Tag meetings throughout the project’s lifecycle.
• Organize and supervise commissioning efforts and ensure preparation for key milestones.
• Handle permits, approvals, and maintain all essential project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and track deliverables.
• Assist in planning and sequencing engineering tasks.
• Ensure engineering teams have the necessary resources, information, and site access to work effectively.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate technical documents, schedules, method statements, and commissioning plans.
• Promote strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the project.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing projects in data centres, MEP, HVAC, electrical, or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and specialised subcontractors.
• In-depth knowledge of project coordination, site permit procedures, and worksite processes.
• Familiarity with commissioning meeting protocols such as Prelim and Green Tag.
• Adept at juggling multiple concurrent workstreams in a dynamic construction setting.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Strong grasp of documentation standards and project reporting systems.
