Role Overview

The Project Manager oversees the complete lifecycle of design and construction projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery that meets Zyeta's quality standards. This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach to handle planning, coordination, execution, and aligning key stakeholders throughout various project phases. Acting as the central accountability hub, the Project Manager guarantees seamless collaboration among design, procurement, site, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete execution of workplace design and construction projects from initial planning to final handover.
• Ensure projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Track project progress, identify risks early, and introduce corrective measures to keep execution smooth.
• Maintain robust coordination among design, procurement, site, and finance departments.
• Consistently meet project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• Utilize project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Zoho Projects) for schedule preparation and management.
• Monitor progress versus schedule and proactively tackle potential delays.
• Forecast requirements for resources, manpower, and materials to ensure continuous progress.
• Conduct weekly team progress meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Keep structured documentation of project schedules, reports, and updates.
• Oversee vendor and contractor relationships to guarantee timely supply of materials and services.
• Monitor vendor compliance with project specifications, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate procurement and track deliveries to avoid project delays.
• Ensure vendor contracts match timeline and budget requirements.
• Serve as the primary client liaison during project execution.
• Provide regular updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to clients and leadership.
• Facilitate client meetings and reviews to clarify expectations.
• Build strong partnerships with consultants, PMCs, and external stakeholders to enable seamless collaboration.
• Implement structured processes for managing design changes, scope adjustments, and variations.
• Document and evaluate all changes for impact and secure approvals prior to implementation.
• Maintain version control over drawings, bills of quantities, specifications, and project documents.
• Communicate changes transparently to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with site engineers and site heads to ensure execution follows design intent and schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Uphold quality standards and Zyeta’s delivery benchmarks throughout all project stages.
• Promptly address on-site issues to avoid delays or disruptions.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 to 10 years of project management experience in interiors, construction, or real estate sectors.
• Demonstrated management of workplace, commercial interior, or design-and-build projects.
• Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and execution methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project, Zoho Projects, or similar.
• Excellent skills in vendor coordination, stakeholder management, and client communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
