Project Engineer

Role overview

Tractors Singapore Limited is hiring a Project Engineer in Singapore for an on-site contract role. The position focuses on coordinating engineering work from planning through delivery, while keeping projects aligned with scope, budget, timing, and customer expectations.

What you'll do

• Build and carry out engineering project plans so the work stays within the agreed scope, budget, and schedule.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the client to keep project execution running smoothly.
• Check engineering drawings and confirm they match required standards as well as customer specifications.
• Track project status, produce progress updates and reports, and work through technical issues when they arise.
• Arrange sourcing and purchasing of equipment needed for the project.
• Oversee site activity and handle on-site coordination.

What we're looking for

• A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Ideally 1 to 2 years of experience in project engineering; fresh graduates may also apply.
• Good project management ability and a practical approach to solving problems.
• Comfort using Microsoft project management tools.
