Role Overview
The Project Engineer will be engaged primarily in DCS (Distributed Control System) projects, supporting engineering design and customer coordination activities. The role demands thorough involvement in hardware engineering, project planning, execution, and close interaction with customers to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers for detailed engineering and CKOM stages.
- Interpret and implement customer and EPC requirements for DCS application development.
- Assist Group Manager in technical and commercial aspects of projects.
- Perform Yokogawa DCS basic and detailed design along with control application implementation.
- Conduct testing, Pre-FAT/FAT, and support start-up activities remotely.
- Report progress and coordinate activities with the Lead Engineer or Group Manager.
- Ensure completion of contractual work within schedule and with customer satisfaction.
- Prepare engineering documents and carry out quality checks and reviews.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with specialization in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
- 1 to 5 years of professional experience in industrial process control, especially with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of hardware specifications and their implementation in automation projects.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Competency in handling technical discussions and meetings with customers.
- Capability to work under project schedules ensuring high-quality outputs.

- Work location: Yokogawa India Limited EC office, Bangalore.
- Travel may be required for project meetings at customer sites and site-specific requirements.
