Production Supervisor

Role overview

A manufacturing site in Carlow is hiring a Production Supervisor for a permanent, day-shift position. This is a practical leadership role focused on running the production floor, guiding Team Leads, and keeping safety, quality, and output on track.

What you will do

• Take responsibility for the daily running of the production area and provide support to production teams and Team Leads.
• Make sure health and safety standards are upheld while production, quality, and delivery goals are met.
• Track production KPIs, deal with everyday operational issues, and keep work moving efficiently.
• Promote Lean practices and support ongoing improvement efforts across the site.
• Help maintain smooth, effective day-to-day operations within the manufacturing environment.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or comparable leadership position.
• Background in one or more of the following sectors: Food, FMCG, Packaging, Plastics, Heavy Manufacturing, Construction Materials, or Automotive.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Practical, hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience would be a plus.
