Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is critical for managing the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end production projects for luxury retail stores, pop-ups, window props, events, permanent counters, podiums, and gondolas. The coordinator will oversee workshop operations, material procurement, vendor relations, and project deliveries to ensure adherence to quality and timelines. Acting as a key liaison between design, production, and project teams, this position helps transition projects smoothly from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track daily production workflows to ensure timely and specification-compliant completion.
• Assist production managers with planning, scheduling, and allocating resources across multiple projects.
• Communicate effectively with designers, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain seamless operations and timely material supply.
• Oversee procurement activities including obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and following up with suppliers.
• Keep detailed production records such as material inventories, fabrication drawings, work orders, and delivery schedules.
• Perform quality inspections during production and prior to shipment to maintain brand and design standards.
• Monitor inventory and material consumption, collaborate with procurement to prevent shortages or delays.
• Support logistics planning and installation processes ensuring all elements are delivered and installed according to schedule.
• Identify potential production issues or delays promptly and participate in developing effective corrective measures.
• Drive continuous improvements by recommending process enhancements that increase productivity and quality control.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in production coordination, production assistance, or related roles within interior fit-out, joinery, events, or luxury retail production sectors is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of production workflows, materials, fabrication methods, and quality benchmarks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking software.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Knowledge of UAE suppliers, workshops, and production standards is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• Relevant practical experience in workshop or site coordination may substitute formal education.
