Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Business, and Leadership to define challenges, set success metrics, and establish analytical frameworks.
  • Manage product instrumentation and event tracking to ensure precise measurement of features, launches, and user journeys.
  • Analyze user behavior across various metrics such as funnels, retention, engagement, conversion, adoption, and monetization to derive meaningful insights.
  • Create and update dashboards, reports, and product health indicators to monitor performance and uncover growth prospects.
  • Develop self-serve analytics tools, reusable data models, and semantic layers to promote data-informed decision-making.
  • Work with large-scale datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and vital business insights.
  • Design, implement, and assess A/B tests, including sample sizing, metric choice, interpreting results, and making recommendations.
  • Address experimentation challenges like biased samples, novelty impact, metric conflicts, and inadequate statistical power.
  • Translate intricate data findings into clear, actionable suggestions that guide product strategy and roadmap planning.
  • Independently tackle ambiguous business and product problems by applying structured data-driven analysis.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Engineering teams to enhance data accuracy, event tracking, and reporting systems.
  • Effectively communicate insights and strategic advice to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years experience in Product Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong practical knowledge of SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets and Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Solid understanding of product metrics, funnels, retention analysis, conversions, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Experience handling and analyzing large datasets to produce actionable business insights.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.
