Role overview
This permanent part-time Processing Officer position is based at NZ Post’s Pokeno branch. The role is centred on sorting, consolidating, and dispatching parcels and freight so they are ready for courier delivery. The work supports the wider goal of serving communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Shift details
- Part-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Shift timing: 5:00am to 9:00am
- Location: 62 Great South Road, Pōkeno
- Hourly rate: $26.75 plus a night rate allowance before 6:00am

About you
You should be reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically demanding role. A strong eye for detail and sound geographical awareness will help you succeed. Forklift certification would be an advantage.
Additional requirements
Applicants must be able to work the stated Monday-to-Friday early morning hours. The role involves lifting items up to 25 kg. All appointments are subject to a satisfactory drug test and security check. Candidates must also prove they are legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
