Role Overview
This role focuses on supporting the Buxton by Audiense line of business through advanced analytics projects. It suits an analytical, self-motivated professional comfortable in fast-paced settings who can manage analytical assignments independently from initial problem framing to final delivery. The position demands expertise in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and Python-based data workflows, collaborating across teams and engaging with clients to translate data-driven insights into strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive analytical projects starting from exploratory data analysis, methodology selection, to insightful delivery.
- Create quantitative models and sophisticated analytical methodologies aiding client decisions in marketing, real estate, and consumer strategies.
- Examine extensive, complex data to detect patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Conduct ad hoc data analyses leveraging Python, SQL, and statistical tools.
- Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders with clear business recommendations.
- Liaise with internal teams and clients to define analytical questions and prioritize impactful opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects autonomously in a dynamic environment with limited supervision.
- Develop visualizations, reporting tools, and deliverables that empower business decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deepen analysis and enhance client value.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative fields; advanced degrees favored.
- Extensive experience in quantitative analytics, statistical modeling, and interpreting data.
- Advanced Python skills for data analysis, automation, and model development.
- Ability to work independently with large, multifaceted datasets from various sources.
- Competence in reframing ambiguous business problems into analytical frameworks and actionable strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Adaptability to rapidly learn new business contexts with minimal onboarding.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving priority environments.
- Preferred: experience in client-facing roles, consulting, or cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: proficiency with SQL and data querying.
- Preferred: experience with predictive modeling and advanced analytics methodologies.
Compensation and Additional Information
The hourly pay range for this remote US-based contract is between 45 and 60 USD.
