About the Role
Join GardaWorld's Aviation Services as a Pre-Board Screening Officer based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. In this critical security role, you'll protect travelers and maintain national safety by performing essential screening tasks at the airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screenings of passengers and their belongings.
- Prevent unauthorized items from entering secure airport zones.
- Manage and control access to restricted areas within the airport.
- React to security alarms and report incidents, unlawful activities, or violations.
- Participate actively in airport emergency response operations.
Required Qualifications
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status is mandatory.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Maintain a clean criminal record and be eligible to receive RAIC security clearance.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Reside near Charlottetown or be willing to relocate prior to employment commencement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging from $24.82 to $26.38 after certification.
