Job Summary
This role involves assisting with investigative research under mentorship within specialized study areas, contributing to scientific knowledge through timely data publication and presentations. The trainee will collaborate with other researchers to support their projects and engage in various institutional and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute research projects as assigned, strictly adhering to experimental protocols with precision and care.
- Manage the collection, analysis, and interpretation of project-specific research data.
- Prepare and submit manuscripts and abstracts for peer-reviewed journals and conferences at multiple levels.
- Perform administrative duties such as correspondence, meeting attendance, database upkeep, and record maintenance.
- Handle additional clinical and administrative tasks as necessary.
- Guide and provide technical support to research personnel.
- Operate under direct supervision, managing tasks of moderate complexity efficiently.
- Complete other job-related duties as required; all stated responsibilities align with essential job functions under applicable disability legislation.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree is mandatory.
- Experience ranging from none to one year in a relevant research field is required.
