Platform Architect

About the Role

We are urgently seeking a Principal Platform Architect to join a significant government technology initiative in Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite position involves managing the architecture of a large-scale, multi-tenant digital platform designed to enable government services. The role requires immediate availability for relocation to Saudi Arabia with full visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee platform and integration architecture encompassing gateway and routing, tenancy, segregation, agent runtimes, registry and marketplace, event backbone, and capacity planning.
• Lead both High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) processes through stringent client security and compliance approval stages.
• Utilize previous experience managing multi-tenant platforms through formal security architecture assessments.
• Collaborate within a compact, senior, interdisciplinary delivery team that includes backend, AI, frontend, and operations experts.
• Work closely with government stakeholders and solution architects to ensure that delivery aligns with non-functional and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Approximately 10 years of experience in platform or solutions architecture.
• Proficient hands-on expertise in Python, operating within a Python-first environment.
• Experience working with AI and large language model (LLM) systems, such as LLM gateways, agentic architectures, and retrieval pipelines.
• Skilled in designing multi-tenant, cloud-native platforms, preferably in AKS/Kubernetes environments.
• Proven history of successfully leading architectural designs through formal governance and security reviews, especially in enterprise or governmental settings.
• Excellent communication abilities to facilitate design discussions and obtain stakeholder approvals.
• Available to join and relocate immediately without prolonged notice periods.
