Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned People Operations Manager to join a prominent hospitality and events organization in Dublin. This full-time, permanent role demands hands-on leadership within a dynamic and fast-moving, high-capacity environment. The successful candidate will take charge of workforce planning, recruiting efforts, employee engagement, and maintaining standards of people operations excellence. Collaborating intimately with operational leadership, your mission is to attract, cultivate, and sustain a motivated workforce while ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the on-site People Operations team.
- Coordinate workforce scheduling, planning, and resource allocation.
- Manage recruitment across permanent, casual, and seasonal staffing demands on a large scale.
- Implement onboarding programs, employee induction, and initiatives to boost engagement.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management and employee relations issues.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company HR policies.
- Track key workforce metrics including labor costs, turnover rates, absenteeism, and productivity.
- Leverage people analytics and reporting tools to inform workforce and operational decisions.
- Offer people operations leadership during major events and peak business cycles.
- Oversee payroll accuracy, right-to-work verification, and uphold employee welfare standards.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated background in HR, people operations, or workforce management within hospitality, catering, events, retail, or other high-volume operational sectors.
- Experience handling large-scale seasonal or casual labor forces.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and influencing.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Data-centric mindset with advanced reporting and analytical proficiency.
- Ability to excel in a high-pressure, operationally intensive environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of CIPD certification or an equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with workforce management systems or HR technology platforms.
- Experience in large-scale venues, events, stadia, or similar hospitality settings.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary between €65,000 and €70,000 per annum.
- Performance bonus amounting to 10% of salary.
