Role overview
Armont Recruitment is working with a well-known global PLC that is looking for an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant to join its finance team in Dublin on an initial 9-month contract. This position offers broad exposure across core accounting activities within a growing and supportive finance environment.
The opportunity is well suited to a part-qualified or trainee accountant who wants to move into industry for the first time from practice, or build on existing industry experience with a major multinational business.
Key duties
- Support the preparation of financial statements for international business entities.
- Complete bank reconciliations and ensure they are accurately maintained.
- Perform monthly GL reconciliations and provide commentary on account movements.
- Assist with VAT return preparation and related reconciliations.
- Contribute analysis and assistance for both external and internal audit processes.
- Manage prepayments and process monthly release entries.
- Prepare quarterly schedules and balance sheet analysis, including supporting commentary for senior management and the audit committee.
Candidate profile
- Part-qualified accountant studying toward ACA, CIMA, or ACCA, with either practice or industry experience in a multinational setting.
- Prior exposure to SAP would be beneficial.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to continue developing accounting knowledge.
