Job Description
As a Package Handler at FedEx Canada in Kelowna, BC, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, scanning packages, and sorting freight within the facility. The position requires physical strength to handle packages safely, including lifting up to 70 lbs manually and maneuvering items up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Successful completion of all foundational and recurring training programs is mandatory
- Proficiency in operating Windows-based PC environments
- For residents of Quebec: bilingualism in French and English is required
Working Hours and Pay
Shifts are scheduled as follows: Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 AM to 8:30 AM; Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM; and Saturday from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with either Wednesday or Tuesday off. The hourly wage rate is $21.

Applicants who drive as a central part of their role must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record (maximum two violations or accidents in the last 24 months), and will undergo comprehensive assessments including driving abstract review and competency interviews.
