Job Overview
The Operator is responsible for managing and overseeing production machinery to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise production equipment, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and efficient process flow.
- Prepare machinery for operation by conducting startup checks and confirming readiness before commencing production.
- Execute standard start-up and shut-down procedures for equipment safely and correctly.
- Observe production parameters and apply basic adjustments to preserve product consistency and quality.
- Perform in-process quality inspections to verify products meet predefined specifications.
- Assist in preventive maintenance tasks and report any mechanical faults or irregularities promptly.
- Troubleshoot and contribute to minimizing equipment downtime through basic problem-solving techniques.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness and organization at the worksite.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Between 0 to 3 years of relevant experience operating similar equipment or within the production sector.
