Job description

About the Role

As a key member of the Operational Services team at Gladstone Hospital, you will help ensure the smooth functioning of the hospital's ward services by supporting patient movements, assisting clinical staff, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely assist patients with transfers and porterage to appointments and treatment areas.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and healthcare teams by assisting with patient care activities such as lifting, turning, escorting patients, shaving, and other personal care tasks.
  • Complete various non-clinical duties that support clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Carry out cleaning responsibilities to help preserve a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

  • Ability to work independently while being a dependable and cooperative team member.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage ranging from $40.42 to $43.12.

Additional Requirements
