About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Night Porter to join the team at Seaton House in St Andrews, Scotland. This position offers an annual salary of 28,932.80, equating to 13.91 per hour, working 40 hours across any 5 days of the week.
The primary duties involve assisting late arrivals with their luggage and travel needs, ensuring a smooth welcome experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support night-time hotel operations and tend to guest requests, which include providing extra room amenities and serving food and beverages.
- Maintain vigilance to ensure safety and security throughout the hotel during shift hours.
- Use initiative and adapt flexibly during shifts to prepare the hotel for the upcoming day.
Working Conditions
The hotel operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility in shift times and days, with busier periods generally in evenings and weekends. Shift patterns and contracted hours will be discussed during the interview process.
