Overview

The incumbent is tasked with precisely filling microdosers, monitoring plant operations, and managing extruder equipment as part of mill production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill microdosers with the specified ingredients accurately.
• Ensure adherence to correct batching sequences and dosing procedures.
• Carry out daily physical inspections and continuous monitoring of the plant machinery.
• Manage the transportation of ingredients to and from the mixing floor.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Notify supervisors immediately if any operational parameters fall outside specifications.
• Support process controllers as needed during production.
• Keep precise records and submit accurate reports on activities and findings.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Completion of NGQ 4, Grade 12, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
• Possession of a valid forklift license is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a comparable manufacturing environment.
• Adherence to health and safety standards is required.
