Role Overview
We are recruiting a Member of Technical Staff specializing in Coding Research to join on a full-time remote basis. This position involves pioneering research and development of advanced coding methods, algorithms, and systems designed to enhance scalable and high-performance computing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth research into programming languages, compilers, and runtime environments aimed at optimizing system performance.
- Create and deploy innovative algorithms focused on code analysis, transformation, and optimization.
- Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to embed research breakthroughs into production-level systems.
- Disseminate research results through academic and industry conferences and contribute actively to open-source initiatives.
- Build prototypes and proofs-of-concept to demonstrate the real-world applicability of theoretical research.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive knowledge in computer science, particularly in programming languages, compilers, or runtime infrastructure.
- Proficiency in several programming languages such as C++, Rust, Java, and Python.
- Experienced in static and dynamic analysis of programs.
- Familiar with all aspects of compiler construction including parsing, semantic analysis, and code generation.
- Skilled in performance tuning, benchmarking, and profiling techniques and tools.
- Capable of conducting autonomous research and converting concepts into practical technology solutions.
- Exposure to distributed computing systems, parallel processing, or GPU programming is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude coupled with a keen interest in complex technical puzzles.

Salary
