Job Overview
We seek a skilled Mechanical Engineer to become part of our construction team in the UAE, specializing in HVAC and plumbing systems across residential, commercial, or high-rise projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical tasks from planning through execution, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality benchmarks, and established timelines.
Key Duties
- Supervise and manage mechanical activities on construction sites.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Analyze and review mechanical and shop drawings along with technical specifications.
- Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, architects, and cross-disciplinary engineers.
- Track site progress ensuring adherence to approved schedules.
- Guarantee mechanical installations meet local authority rules and industry standards.
- Perform site inspections and address technical challenges during construction phases.
- Examine material submissions and confirm approved materials are used on site.
- Compile progress reports and actively contribute in project meetings.
- Uphold health, safety, and quality protocols throughout project delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous construction experience within the UAE is compulsory.
- Hands-on knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is essential.
- At least 5 years of relevant construction project experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MEP coordination and on-site execution.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating with consultants.
- Familiarity with residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Understanding of UAE-specific construction standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments.
