Job Overview

Join a dynamic engineering team at Emerson to contribute to the creation and upkeep of ERP data that supports plant order execution processes. This role involves delivering technical order documentation, offering CAD assistance, and supporting product engineering to streamline manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering peers to manage and maintain ERP-related data for plant order execution.
• Prepare and review order engineering deliverables including Bills of Materials (BoMs), General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), and perform technical order assessments, accounting for 60% of the work.
• Provide CAD support for Engineer-to-Order (ETO), New Product Development (NPD), along with ongoing sustenance projects, constituting roughly 30% of duties.
• Assist product engineering initiatives to facilitate manufacturing operations and ensure smooth production cycles with around 10% focus.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will excel at streamlining complex workflows, continuously enhancing processes, and fostering effective collaboration across global and cross-functional teams. Strong dedication to customer-focused solutions and seamless integration is essential.

Requirements

• Experience with order execution and maintaining products during their lifecycle.
• Proficient in engineering CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Autodesk Vault, or SolidWorks PDM Pro.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP or BaaN.
• Understanding of manufacturing procedures and materials used within the mechanical engineering domain.
• Knowledge of industry design standards including ASME, ANSI, API, or EN.
• Exceptional attention to detail with emphasis on comprehensive documentation accuracy.
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with local and international teams.
• Fluent English skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Possession of certifications related to CAD tool proficiency.
