As a Materials Specialist reporting to Material Operations Supervisors, you will manage warehouse inventory, shipping, receiving, and material transportation. This role works closely with the Maintenance Department to ensure timely and sufficient supply of materials essential for aircraft upkeep, supporting logistics operations with great attention to detail and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of Material Stores and Line Material procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory accuracy, parts issuance, shipping, receiving, stocking, and equipment handling.
- Manage warehouse activities encompassing both Technical and Non-Technical inventories.
- Execute data entry tasks including locating, issuing, receiving, and shipping of materials and tools within the inventory system.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Operations Control for inventory, tooling, and special equipment logistics during Aircraft on Ground situations.
- Monitor stock levels, adjust minimum and maximum thresholds in collaboration with Maintenance, Purchasing, and other departments.
- Conduct inventory audits, inspections, and reconciliations ensuring compliance with the General Maintenance Manual.
- Perform physical inventory counts, maintaining adherence to stock level parameters.
- Partner with Maintenance and Quality departments to oversee tooling calibration, shelf-life audits, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Carry out receiving inspections as assigned by Quality Control.
- Prepare hazardous materials shipments following International Air Transport Association standards.
- Work alongside Engineering and Maintenance Planning teams to assemble fleet modification kits.
- Fulfill additional duties as delegated by Materials Management.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in data entry or inventory control.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record per company standards.
- Capability to operate company vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and ground support equipment safely.
- Successful completion of Materials and General Maintenance Manual training courses.
- Certification and maintenance of Dangerous Goods shipping credentials as per IATA and ground regulations.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. per immigration laws.
- Proficiency in operating 5K and 15K forklifts for handling aircraft engines and equipment.
- Clearance through a ten-year criminal background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SIDA badges and required airport security badges.
- Fluency in English and minimum age of 18 years.
- Demonstration of Breeze’s cultural values and a proactive, positive approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aerospace, or related discipline, or equivalent certification from technical/trade schools.
- Familiarity with TRAX (Maintenance & Engineering) inventory systems.
- Experience working in warehouse or stockroom settings.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in TRAX and Microsoft Excel reporting.
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage leadership effectively.
- Capacity to remain composed under pressure and manage stress.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Professional appearance and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Physical ability to lift and move weights up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, kneeling, climbing and crawling.
- Strong teamwork skills across organizational levels.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting hourly wage of $18.50.
- Additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for overnight shifts between 9:00 PM and 7:30 AM.
