Rotana Hotels is looking for a motivated and hands-on Mason to support maintenance operations across the hotel. This role involves carrying out masonry and related civil maintenance work in guest rooms, public areas, and other parts of the property, while ensuring all tasks meet the applicable standards and codes.

What you will do

• Handle tile grouting, block work, and other assigned civil maintenance tasks across the property.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities for masonry-related work as instructed by supervisors.
• Repair, maintain, and modify buildings, retaining walls, and brick or stone structures.
• Prepare mortar, lay bricks and stone, and construct or repair concrete sidewalks and steps.
• Patch and replace damaged brick or stonework, including chimneys.
• Install and repair tile flooring and wall finishes.
• Interpret blueprints and work on plastered ceilings or walls as needed.
• Estimate masonry jobs and support related carpentry tasks when they arise.

Education, qualifications and experience

Applicants should have a technical background and solid practical experience in masonry work. The role requires the ability to follow policies and regulations, good physical fitness, a strong command of English, and the capability to identify faults and correct them effectively.
