Role Overview

The Marketing Associate position supports GreenState's marketing strategies by coordinating various marketing efforts. Responsibilities encompass managing daily marketing tasks, aiding in the production and distribution of promotional materials, and compiling data to monitor campaign effectiveness. The role demands collaboration with internal staff, suppliers, and partners to maintain alignment with company standards and goals. Additionally, the associate helps strengthen community relations and represents the brand at organizational events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a comparable field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• At least one year of relevant marketing experience.
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms and marketing principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with marketing or content management platforms is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and detail-oriented abilities.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines within structured processes.
• Adherence to established procedures with escalation as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and external vendors.
• Competent in preparing routine reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and enhance skills in a dynamic setting.
• A proactive approach focused on supporting team and organizational objectives.
• Must pass background checks and be bondable.

Primary Responsibilities

• Uphold the credit union’s values and service standards consistently.
• Deliver exceptional member service internally and externally.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to fulfill assigned duties.
• Ensure member information confidentiality and security.
• Promote a diverse and respectful workplace environment.
• Assist in producing, approving, and distributing marketing materials in line with brand guidelines.
• Manage promotional item inventory and facilitate storefront updates through vendor coordination.
• Support marketing campaign production, proofing, and timely rollout.
• Gather marketing and demographic data for targeted initiatives and generate routine performance reports.
• Coordinate with graphic designers to create visual content for branches and online platforms, maintaining schedules.
• Manage social media accounts by posting approved content, monitoring engagement, and spotting trends for leadership insight.
• Update website content ensuring accuracy, consistency, and prompt implementation.
• Document campaigns ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Prepare reports analyzing marketing activities for leadership review.
• Support bonus and referral programs by handling inquiries, tracking records, and liaising with IT support.
• Conduct audits to verify branch compliance with marketing guidelines and address discrepancies.
• Participate annually in community service projects and credit union events to boost engagement and brand visibility.
• Handle additional marketing duties and special projects as assigned by management.
